Listen: Everywhere – “Some Other Dude”

London-based alternative rock band Everywhere have released their second single from their upcoming sophomore LP due out in September. The track, “Some Other Dude” is a captivating song with plenty of rhythm and a chorus that will be stuck in your head for days to come. This is the kind of music that would be considered an unusual gem — the underground fire you’d expect to see in an old iPod commercial back in the day. (Remember those? I feel old.)

In a pop landscape dominated mostly by female vocalists, Everywhere’s all male presence is an enjoyable change of pace. Lead singer Max Berga’s smooth as silk voice heightens “Some Other Dude”, enchanting listeners to dance and enjoy the moment, and that’s just what the song is about. “It’s a funky little song about the importance of seizing an opportunity before it goes out the window” Max says.

Check out “Some Other Dude” above, and you can pre-order it on iTunes. Check back to POParazzi in September for more details surrounding the release of their sophomore EP. Everywhere is gearing up for their first UK tour this summer, so look for tour dates and keep up with the band on Facebook and Twitter as well as their official website.
