How can one make heartbreak sound so alluring? You’ll have to ask Kris Angelis. Her new acoustic track explores what it’s like when love takes a turn for the worse. “I swear there was a time when you belonged to me, but I’m a two way heart on a way one street,” she croons, showing that as sweet as her voice is, she’s got the lyrical prowess to have her words cut like a knife.

The song is the titular track off an EP due out on June 2. If this song is any indication of what the other tracks will be like, they’ll be pensive, thought-provoking, but most importantly enjoyable — even if they are heartbreakingly sad.
