It-girl Dua Lipa has teamed up with Martin Garrix and dropped a music video for their new collaboration, ‘Scared To Be Lonely.’ The track feels like the lyrical opposite to Garrix’s work with Bebe Rexha for ‘In The Name of Love.’ Lipa croons and ponders whether she’s with her man because their love is true or because they’re both simply scared of being alone. The lyrics are a bit of a downer, but the song makes up for it with an enjoyable beat. As to be expected with a Dua Lipa song, her husky voice is like a breath of fresh air. While ‘Scared To Be Lonely’ may not be as instant of a delight as her songs ‘Blow Your Mind (Mwah)’ or ‘Hotter Than Hell,’ it’s a collaboration with a big name that’s sure to send her already ascending star even further on the rise.
