Is it any surprise that Ariana Grande’s music video for her latest single would contain her as the heroine from some of the 90’s and early 2000’s best romantic comedies? What better way to give a send off to all your exes and let everyone know that you’re the star of your own love life than by throwing it back to Mean Girls, Bring It On, and of course — Legally Blonde.
Cameos throughout the video are clever and well thought out from her close friends Troye Sivan and Colleen Ballinger to stars from the original films to which she is playing homage. Throughout the video, Ariana stuns (even with the 90’s soft-focus filters!) as she plays with her own Burn Book, dances along while Kris Jenner films and does the Almost Bend and Snap with Jennifer Coolidge.
