Listen: SHENNA – “So-Low”

It’s always great to have some local talent releasing new music — especially when they’re going places like SHENNA. The R&B/Pop songstress, from Woodbridge, VA has taken to New York to work on her sophomore album, Made of Gold, due to be released later this year. SHENNA’s talent has taken her from the DC area to New York and beyond — she’s performed at places like Walt Disney World, Webster Hall and even opened for Carly Rae Jepsen and En Vogue at 2015’s D.C. Pride Festival.

“So-Low” uses foxy wordplay to tell a story of independence – of breaking free from those who bring negativity to everything they touch. It’s an anthem for those who feel trapped and surrounded by people trying to bring them down. Forget those who are trying to take you “So Low”, go Solo and blossom from your newfound independence.

Listen to SHENNA’s new song below. Keep up with her on her official website, Facebook and Twitter. Purchase “So-Low” on iTunes.
