Artist Spotlight: Versus Me

In 2014, Patrick Thompson of the rock band Alesana, launched Versus Me, a Wisconsin-based metalcore band with other members James and Lee Milbrandt of Serianna, Clint Greendeer of Guardians, and Dustin Helgestad of Crossing The Delaware. Operating under the radar for the past year. Versus Me has released multiple singles and music videos, and the band has consistently been playing shows in the Midwest, including a tour with the Detroit-based hard rock band I Prevail. The guys have been hard at work on their debut full length album Changes, set for release later this year.

Where Versus Me shines is their ability to combine softer, more pop-driven verses with extremely hard and metal choruses, making their music perfect for those who love the dark metal sounds of a band like Avenged Sevenfold, but still enjoy the music of acts such as 5 Seconds of Summer. Be on the lookout for them to one day be on the main stage of The Warped Tour.
