Listen: Kerli and Seven Lions – ‘Worlds Apart’ & ‘Keep it Close’

300x300
Estonian Bubblegoth beauty Kerli teamed up with Seven Lions for his new EP titled Worlds Apart. Kerli appears on two songs, including the title track and another track called ‘Keep It Close.’ The songs stay true to Kerli’s unique bubblegoth style, mixing dark and light for an inimitable sound.

‘Worlds Apart’ features Kerli singing melancholy lyrics about being with someone physically but not emotionally and feeling distance. The drop in this song is amazing, and with Kerli lulling you into a trance, you don’t even really notice the song is over 6(!) minutes long.

‘Keep it Close’ is a more upbeat track, and a delightful electronic melody plays as Kerli’s lyrics take you on a journey that is at times eerie and totally haunting. Kerli’s one of a kind voice is perfect for the track, and the accent she sings with adds to the beauty of ‘Keep it Close.’
