As many good points as she may make, Iggy Azalea continues to bite the hand that feeds her. After making remarks to fans about the underwhelming performance of her collaboration with Britney Spears, Iggy had enough of the press twisting her words and decided to set the record straight. Her only problem is not knowing when to stop talking. Azalea made good points about women’s position in the music industry, but finished it off with a nasty generalized statement about freelance bloggers – many of which, like this blog, supported her and connected new fans to her music before she made it big. She certainly is not endearing herself to the media – the only thing that connects casual fans and those that don’t hang on her every word. In other words, the media that gives her whatever shreds of relevancy beyond her fanbase that she seems to one moment desire, collaborating with bigger more established artists, and the next moment loathes as she backtracks over her own tongue.
Read some of Iggy’s thoughts on women in the music industry below.
i feel like the media wants women in music to get out and mud wrestle each other. As a woman i take great offense.

Women in the media should be able to have a grown up and subjective opinion without it being anything more than that. its disappointing.

i feel like the press just wants to see girls be overtly sexual to one another, and have no real opinion other than “i love it! ^.^”
